Polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, and PVC are produced in Israel in large volumes, with a wide variety of grades for local consumption and export. Nevertheless, to meet the needs of its relatively large plastic industry, Israel needs to import more than 50% of its plastic raw materials.
